What this tool does

Convert many images with one set of settings. A verified account converts up to 20 images per batch, within its 100 free previews a day. Guests, and accounts whose e-mail is not verified yet, preview 5 images a day, so their batch converts at most 5; a file over the day's allowance is listed as not converted, with the reason. Check every preview, unlock only the results you want (or all at once), and download them together as a ZIP. You pay per result you unlock; failed conversions are never charged.

Inputs, outputs and limits

Input

PNG, JPEG, WebP, HEIC

Output

One SVG per input image, ZIP download of unlocked results

Limits

Up to 25 MB and 24 megapixels per image, 20 files per batch with a verified account (5 a day as a guest). Processing stops after 180 s. Images over 2048 px on the long side are scaled down to 2048 px before tracing.

How it works

1

Select several images

Drop up to 20 PNG, JPG, WebP or HEIC files on the upload box (5 a day as a guest), or pick them together from your device.

2

Choose settings once

Style preset, color count, smoothing and background removal apply to every file in the batch. To change them afterwards, “Apply other settings to all images” traces the whole batch again.

3

Unlock what you keep

Each result has its own preview and its own unlock (1 credit for a standard result), or unlock them all at once. Download unlocked results individually or as a ZIP.

Troubleshooting

Why does my photo look posterised?

Tracing turns an image into a few flat colors. Photos and gradients have thousands, so they come out looking like a poster. Flat logos, icons and illustrations trace best.

Small text or thin lines disappear

Lines only a few pixels wide can merge with what is around them. Upload the largest, sharpest original you have and raise the number of colors.

The background became a filled shape

Click “Remove background & re-vectorize” under the result, or turn on Remove background in the settings and convert again. The backdrop becomes transparent; anything enclosed by the artwork is kept.

One image in the batch failed

The other results are unaffected, and failed conversions are never charged. Open the failed item in the batch list to see why (usually an unreadable or oversized file) and try it again on its own. A file refused before converting — wrong type, too large, or over the day's preview allowance — stays in the list with its reason and an “Upload it again on its own” link.

Access and pricing

Previews are free: 5 images a day as a guest or before you verify your e-mail, 100 a day with a verified account, and every image in a batch uses one — so a guest batch converts at most 5, a verified account's up to 20. Each clean SVG you unlock costs 1 credit; failed conversions are never charged. Files are kept 24 hours for guests and 30 days in an account. See pricing.
