What this tool does

The optimizer removes what your SVG doesn't need — editor data, comments, unused parts and repeated settings — and rounds numbers to the precision you choose. Before you get the file, it is compared with your original: if rounding would visibly change anything, full precision is kept, and if nothing can be saved you get your own file back. You see the file size before and after.

For safety, scripts, animation, embedded web content, links and anything that loads another file are removed; your artwork and embedded PNG, JPEG or WebP images stay. The result lists anything removed.

Troubleshooting

The file barely got smaller

Traced SVGs are already compact; the biggest savings come from files exported by design apps, which carry extra data.

Something shifted slightly

Every result is compared with your original before you get it; when rounding would visibly move anything, full precision is kept and the result says so. If you still see a difference, choose precision 4.

Something is missing from the result
